The official website for the two-part anime film adaptation of Inio Asano‘s Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction manga announced on Monday that the staff has delayed the second film’s opening from April 19 to May 24 in order to improve the film’s quality. Narita noted in his afterword that he decided to adjust the novels’ finale after deciding to write the story of the ninth volume and the last volume at the same time. Narita (Baccano!, Durarara!!) first published the Fake/states night story as an April Fool’s joke in 2008.
